Please print and post these in your travels, carry a few in your car.
There are community bulletin boards in coffee shops, grocery stores, libraries, schools, vets offices, pet stores, in many places -
once you start looking for them, you'll see them everywhere!
Adoptions are central to our ability to help cats who are in need, so please help us spread the word!

One of our adoptable cats in need is Jubilee ...
This darling kitty is Jubilee who is being fostered by an HFC volunteer, Laraine VanBlarcom.
This special, wonderful little foster kitty was recently diagnosed with Feline Stomatitis.
Feline stomatitis is the most painful oral disease in the feline. Although the exact cause is unknown,
it is thought that some cats may have a hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to bacterial plaque and are called 'plaque-intolerant.'
This results in a disease called lymphocytic-plasmacytic gingivitis stomatitis (LPGS), which affects the entire mouth.
After consulting with a vet and doing a biopsy (which confirmed her diagnosis), it was decided to extract all Jubilee's teeth behind the canines.
With these teeth gone the vet expects Jubilee will make a full recovery and be free from the horrible pain she has been in.
She is young and healthy which is in her favor. She'll have to get used to having her remaining teeth brushed and she'll
need to be monitored closely in the future.
Thankfully, Habitat For Cats authorized this expensive surgery. It was however a lot of money to spend on one kitty.
If you could find it in your heart (and wallet) to send a small donation to help cover Jubilee's veterinary bills,
it would be greatly appreciated ... more than you know! Even a couple dollars in an envelope would help!!
If you would like to help Jubilee, you can send donations with checks made out to "Habitat For Cats" to:
Laraine VanBlarcom, 6 Barben Circle, Mendon NY 14506 or Habitat for Cats, c/o Kathy Rivera, 26 Scrantom St., Rochester NY 14605.
Please include a note that your donation is for Jubilee.
Jubilee and Laraine thank you! Hopefully someday a kind person will adopt Jubilee. Until then, she'll be snuggling with Laraine every night :-)
Also, a special thanks from Jubilee goes to Dr. Sara Sanders at Mendon Village Animal Hospital!
