All cats adopted through Habitat for Cats adoption program requires the cat be delivered to their permanent home by an HFC volunteer or foster parent if a home visit has not been done prior to the adoption. An agreement must also be signed once approved. A copy of the agreement and application will be mailed to you once the adoption is completed and the cat has been spayed/neutered. Applicants that have been approved can foster the cat until they are spayed/neutered. They may also choose to take it to their own vet. You must inform us of the appointment date and provide a copy of the certificate/form that proves the cat has been sterilized and vaccinated. The adoption fee listed above will still apply for the adoption.
